Registration and Abstract Submission

Preparing for Submission: Checklist for Authors

  1. Check carefully that the format of the abstract complies with the instructions. Incoming abstracts will be scanned automatically, and those not complying with the required format (font, font size, margins, etc.) will be returned to the submitting author. Make sure that the abstract is labeled with the correct section (Analytical Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Inorganic & Coordination Chemistry, Computational Chemistry, Physical Chemistry,  Polymers & Colloids or Catalysis Science and Engineering).
  2. Save the document in .doc (or .tex) format.
  3. Convert your document in .pdf format and check carefully the final aspect of the text, equations, chemical drawings and figures. Only submit abstracts with black-and-white or gray-scale figures.
  4. Access the online submission system by clicking on the link below. During the online submission process, you will be asked for
    • a .pdf file of your abstract which will be uploaded (make sure that the size of the .pdf files does not exceed 60MB),
    • and your membership status with the Swiss Chemical Society (your member number, if applicable).

Acknowledgement of Receipt

An e-mail message acknowledging the registration and receipt of the abstract will be se sent within minutes after the submission. If you do not receive an acknowledgement, please contact the meeting secretariat.

In case you notice an error with the registration, please do not re-submit the same abstract a second time, but rather notify the meeting secretariat.

If you need to modify the submitted data, please follow the instructions given in the „acknowledgement-of-receipt” e-mail.

Notification of Acceptance

All abstracts will be reviewed by the members of the Program Committee responsible for the respective session. We hope you will understand that the number of slots for oral presentations is limited. By end of June, all participants will be notified about the acceptance and status of their contribution.
